In this pivotal role, you will be representing the business as it relates to the development and implementation of the vision and strategy for clinical content within the Ontada Product Portfolio. Using ICARE and ILEAD principles, this position will innovate and evolve clinical content data solutions to provide industry leading clinical support under the remarkable vision of Ontada.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Ontada leadership and peers to ensure timely delivery of strategically aligned capabilities for
clinical content.
Implement opportunities identified for evolution of existing capabilities toward a portfolio aligned with Ontada
strategic requirements.
Develop documentation and presentations that communicate the operational and functional intent of Clinical
Information Services as confirmed by stakeholders (including executive management).
Coordinate with Product Management such that approved items in the defined clinical content roadmap are fully
aligned with the deployments scheduled in the near-term roadmaps.
Act as coordinator for key clinical content program components instantiated to deliver strategic capabilities.
Leadership
You will also lead in areas of leadership and collaboration:
Understand clinical data needs and vision to implement plans for evolving the organization’s content strategy to
stay ahead of competing technology platforms.
Advocate for the execution of improvements and best practices across the organization by contributing to the
implementation of clinical standards and adhering to data governance policies.
Build relationships and lead strong personalities as a trusted professional to drive open items to effective
resolutions.
Operate as a leader who is open to new insights, accepts challenges, and leads with positive energy.
Inspire, empower, and manage teams of strategic clinical content initiatives and focuses.
Attract, retain, and nurture top planning and program delivery talent for clinical content.
Minimum Requirement
- Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
Education
- B.S. degree in business, health, informatics or related field, or equivalent experience
Critical Skills
8+ years’ experience in clinical/healthcare field
4+ years managerial experience
Oversee and manage the implementation of strategy, policy, and operational plans to a successful outcome across
the organization with dispersed management
Championing and promoting new ideas that contribute to the goals of the department
Understanding of healthcare product and implementation management requirements
Excellent ability to build relationships, align and influence diverse stakeholders, and achieve outcomes
Strong ability to communicate across diverse levels from technology to business and senior leadership
Effective oral and written communication skills, with ability to bring clarity to complexity and communicate
customer needs, architectural requirements, and product goals across cross-functional teams
Understanding of and capability to write requirements (operational and functional)
Experience as a leader with proven ability to collaborate and influence others in a highly cross-matrixed
environment
Proven ability to prioritize strategic versus short-term requirements
