Our North American Pharmaceutical segment unites our U.S. and Canadian wholesale drug distribution businesses to deliver best-in-class services across a broad customer base. We ensure medicines and therapies reach their destinations safely, reliably, and on time. Through our infrastructure and digitally connected network, we support retail and community pharmacies, specialty care, and health systems. We collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, care providers, and others to make quality care more accessible and affordable.
McKesson Medical-Surgical Solutions distributes medical-surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and lab equipment to non-acute care settings across the U.S. These include physician offices, surgery centers, long-term care providers, labs, home health and hospice agencies, health systems, government facilities, and online retailers. We offer over 285,000 national brand and McKesson-branded products through our U.S. distribution network. In May 2025, McKesson announced its intention to separate this segment into an independent company.
Our Prescription Technology Solutions (RxTS) segment addresses medication access, affordability, and adherence by connecting patients, pharmacies, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, health plans, and biopharma companies. We support biopharma and life sciences partners with innovative solutions, such as CoverMyMeds, that help people get the medicine they need. Our offerings include prescription price transparency, benefit insight, dispensing support, third-party logistics, and wholesale distribution services.
The Oncology and Multispecialty segment provides integrated solutions to support patient care. We accelerate drug development, expand access to high-quality care, and ensure life-saving therapies reach patients. We offer practice management, technology, specialty drug distribution, clinical trial, group purchasing, and pharmacy services for community-based oncology practices and multispecialty providers in retina and ophthalmology. We partner with healthcare providers to support their operations behind the scenes, allowing them to stay focused on their patients.

Applications for U.S. internships typically open while we are on tour to campus career fairs in September/October. Our U.S. Internship Program runs every summer; exact dates vary each year. The bulk of our recruiting and interviewing takes place between September-December. In Canada, internships are offered each semester: Fall (September-December), Winter (January-April), and Summer (May-August). For Ireland internships, application periods and schedules vary throughout the year.
