The Sr. Manager, Business Excellence is responsible for managing the entire McKesson Biomedical Solutions balance sheet. This includes overseeing procurement, conducting cost analysis, managing billing and accounts payable, monitoring performance and metrics of the medical device rental fleet, and planning for capital investments. The primary focus of this role is to optimize the assets and liabilities of Biomed Solutions. McKesson Biomedical Solutions is seeking a leader who can cultivate a professional and service-oriented work environment by monitoring performance, motivating team members, and fostering their development to provide exceptional support for both internal and external customers, all while meeting performance objectives. This position necessitates proven experience in coordinating team activities, managing business processes and intersections, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of key business functions.

- Sr. Associate Billing Analyst
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Biomed Operations to set strategy and direction of business functions.
- Establish KPIs for each business function to measure success and adherence to processes.
- Create performance accountability expectations for direct reports.
- Ensure McKesson’s core values are lived and demonstrated by all team members.
- Seek opportunities with each challenge, define root cause and preventative measures.
- Ensure all processes follow Federal, State, and local laws through coordination with McKesson compliance and legal.

Inventory Excellence
- Effectively lead Inventory team to procure devices, parts, & supplies while establishing data driven stocking levels and forecasts
- Establish controls to monitor inventory adjustments and center compliance to established controls (to include inventory KPIs)
- Lead further integration of Biomed & MMS inventory processes.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset.
Medical Device Fleet Management
- Create and refine tools to both define & improve medical device rental asset performance. Including utilization, revenue, & capital ROI
- Effectively inform capital budgeting and financial forecasts
- Own Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) cycle time. Develop vendor scorecards and tactics to monitor and improve OEM performance.
- Provide data driven and process-based recommendations for buy in of resale and rental inventory in support of new business initiatives.
- Develop policies for lost/damaged/overdue fleet assets.
Cost Management
- Strong understanding and ownership of the Biomed balance sheet, including impact of depreciation
- Develop effective forecast guidance on cost increases and/or expenditures across biomed
- Ensure OEM invoices are accurate and paid in a timely manner.
- Proactively monitor customer billing for completion & accuracy
- Pursue additional synergies/programming to reduce billing issues.
- Create process(es) to analyze & communicate fleet performance.
- Analyze acquisition, service cost, OEM service fees to provide guidance on business impact due to fluctuations.
Team Development
- Effective ability to develop talent; purposeful monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews focused on performance and behavior.
- Build and implement development plans to support work notes above
- Develop core competencies and bench strength through cross training & collaboration with MMS Materials Management
Minium Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field Professional certifications in supply management (CPSM or CPM) are a bonus.
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience leading supply chain management. Experience may include a combination of procurement, inventory and/or fleet management or other leadership roles. Must have strong experience with demand planning, sourcing, supplier management and process improvement.
Knowledge and skills: Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices and strategies is essential. Should have expertise in cost analysis, contract management, risk assessment and compliance. Excellent analytical, negotiation and communications skills are critical.
Leadership ability: Experience leading a team and managing cross-functional relationships effectively. Ability to motivate and develop a team, foster collaboration, and drive results.
Strategic mindset: Develop and implement strategies aligned with Biomed Solutions overall goals. Ability to recognize opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite tools. JD Edwards experience preferred.
Industry Knowledge: McKesson Biomedical Solutions provides preventative maintenance and repairs to various medical devices in an alternate site setting. Experience in the Biomed industry preferred, however not required.
Role Location: Remote, Chicago IL or Richmond VA area.
Travel Requirements: As required but less than 25% depending on location.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
