POSITION: Sr. Business Intelligence Developer
LOCATION: 1564 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, GA 30329
JOB DUTIES: Perform MicroStrategy administration activities including system upgrades and license management. Provide on-going support of existing MicroStrategy solutions as well as continually reevaluate current processes and techniques for increased efficiency and maintainability. Maintain data load processes using command line routines, Perl, Python, and Oracle. Design and produce complex reports, dashboards, and scorecards for internal and external customers on multiple BI platforms (MicroStrategy, IBM Cognos, and Looker). Use GitHub actions to
promote objects in Looker environments. Use Motio to promote objects in IBM Cognos environments. Work with multiple teams to design and build data marts using Oracle and BigQuery. Recommend and lead database changes working with DBAs and Developers. Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers to develop product metrics. Complete complex data analysis and ad-hoc requests. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues with large data sets in a complex data structure. Manage system security to ensure new product reports and customers are configured properly. Understanding of HIPAA requirements, NCPDP transaction standards, and data security regarding pharmacy prescription real-time processing.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Applicant must have 3 years demonstrated experience in each of the following:
- MicroStrategy Administration with an on-prem installation
- MicroStrategy Developer
- IBM Cognos or equivalent on-prem BI tool
- Oracle data warehousing or equivalent database installed on-prem
2 years of experience in:
- Linux/Unix operating systems
6 months of experience required in:
- Python and Perl
OFFERED WAGE: $99,500 - $165,800/year
