Position Description
The role of Sr Associate Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst (Healthcare) is pivotal in transforming data into insightful business decisions. This position is responsible for the development, analysis, and modeling of various organizational data to drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will employ their knowledge of BI tools to provide actionable insights and recommendations that support McKesson’s operational and economic objectives. This role involves evaluating the potential impact of organizational changes, supporting competitive performance analysis, and contributing to economic forecasts affecting the industry.
Starting Pay is between $85,000 to $88,000 based on skills and qualifications for this role in the Woodlands, Texas area
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop, analyze, and model organizational data using BI tools such as Power BI to provide comprehensive reports and dashboards that inform decision-making processes.
- Strategic Insights: Interpret complex data sets and market trends to recommend innovative strategies and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and competitive performance.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and data engineers, to understand data needs and deliver insights that support business objectives.
- Problem Solving: Tackle moderately complex data challenges with sound judgment, providing recommendations for short-term and long-term solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest and implement improvements in data analysis processes and methodologies to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
Critical Skills
- Power BI Expertise: Proficient in creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data trends effectively.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaborative skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and business intelligence engineers.
- Medical Claims Revenue Cycle: Have a thorough understanding of the revenue cycle of medical claims.
Additional Knowledge and Skills
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical industry trends and competitive products.
- Medical Infusion Operations: Through understanding and knowledge of medical infusion operations.
