The 3PL Trainer is a member of the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs team within the McKesson 3PL Cover My Meds organization, reporting to the Director, Quality Management Systems. The 3PL Trainer conducts training, documents SOPs, and some content development for the McKesson 3PL organization. The subject matter includes content to support both new hire training and existing employee training and development by demonstrating up-to-date expertise in adult learning theory, best training practices, and various delivery methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics of training to include training room, attendance tracking, passwords, materials, and supplies, as needed.
  • Train groups, one-on-one, virtually, in the classroom, or DC floor. This includes New Hire, standard operating procedures, and soft skills, as necessary.
  • Work with DC Management and Subject Matter Experts to ensure training programs are effective and that materials covered are up-to-date, accurate, compliant, and relevant for business needs.
  • Uses best practices to develop training documents, including – visuals, Leader Guides, and Participant guides.
  • Administers Training Assessments/Knowledge checks to ensure training effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate training records and training reports.
  • Ensures accuracy of Trainee details in the QMS through various reports.

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

3+ years training experience

Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Ability to work various shifts based on staffing or DC business needs.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Education, Communication, Organizational Design, Psychology, or other equivalent curriculum that focuses on learning, preferred
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts in a team environment
  • Ability to teach in front of groups
  • Ability to teach in a virtual environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of industry standard learning technologies
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and technical skills
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
  • Ability to work cross-functionally under pressure
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong time management skills

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel between product storage facilities within Southern Ohio and Central/ Northern Kentucky.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$68,300 - $113,800
