Current Need
McKesson’s Corporate Strategy and Business Development (CSBD) team is seeking to add a Director, CSBD Operationswho is responsible for all aspects of managing CSBD department operations, including but not limited to financial planning and budgeting, team engagement and communications, work process management, and the execution ofinitiatives and events to support our “Great Place to Work” efforts.Successful candidate must be very detail oriented, havea track record of driving multiple workstreams independently, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In this high visibility, high responsibility role, this individual will support the VP of Enterprise Strategy & CSBD Operations and the EVP / Chief Strategy & Business Development Office by leading the day-to-day operations of the department. In addition, this individual will support presentation material development for the McKesson Board of Directors and Executive Operating team, as needed. This individual will manage a team of two.
Position Description
Identifies, scopes, and manages multiple projects and initiatives end-to-end; maintains responsibility for deliverables and timelines, shifting priorities as needed; manages stakeholder relationships and expectations
Facilitates business problem solving through structured thinking, detailed analyses, and synthesized insights leading to recommendations to senior management
Develops and maintain financial models, long-range plans, and fiscal year budgets to support department operations
Leads CSBD’s “Great Place to Work” initiative that strives to sustain a strong team culture, increase team member engagement, create a diverse & inclusive workplace, train & develop CSBD team members, and attract & retain top talent within CSBD
Drives development of executive communication material for the annual strategic planning cycle
Provides project management and content development support for Board of Directors, Executive Operating Team (EOT), CSBD Leadership Team (LT), and CSBD team meetings and events
Manages department communications and engagement through team communications channels
Responsible for aggregating and delivering the daily CSBD news alerts
Builds trust and productive relationships with the CSBD leadership team, CSBD team members, and other stakeholders across the organization
Partners with HR to manage and continually optimize our talent recruiting and retention processes
Identifies and deploys against opportunities to improve, standardize and / or streamline CSBD work processes
Influences through effective communication, relevant and insightful analyses, and creative thinking
Maintains thorough knowledge of department’s resources, operations, and capabilities and makes recommendations for how to continuously improve department operations and strengthen team culture
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
2+ years operations experience
Prior experience related toproject management, budgeting & planning, and executive communications
Prior finance and / or marketing & communications experience a plus
Healthcare industry knowledge a plus, but not required

Financial Acumen: understanding of financial modeling and experience with financial planning, budgeting in the context of managing day-to-day department operations
Communications Skills: excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization; promote ideas and proposals persuasively
Champion Team Culture:Identify and execute initiatives that promote the development of a strong team culture within CSBD; support an inclusive culture by reinforcing recruiting and talent development efforts that enhance diversity of thought, background, and experience
Education
Must have 4-year Bachelor's degree in business, finance, communications, or related field or equivalent experience
MBA or other relevant Master’s degree preferred
Location
This role is based in Las Colinas, TX
Physical Requirements
General office demands. Limited travel, around 10%.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
