What You’ll Do
Drive Product Vision: Lead and define the roadmap for new healthcare technology solutions, working closely with engineering, design, clinical, and business teams.
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Guide multi-disciplinary teams through all phases of product development—from ideation to launch—ensuring alignment on objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
Strategic Communication: Communicate product strategy, progress, and risks to senior leadership, including Directors and VPs, through presentations and written reports.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to ensure data integrity and inform portfolio decisions. Leverage quantitative analytics for forecasting, budget planning, and performance tracking.
Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and align key stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions to drive decision-making and project progression.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify dependencies, proactively manage risks, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and project success.
Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices in Agile and Scrum methodologies, and champion process improvements across teams.
Mentorship & Growth: Contribute to a culture of learning by mentoring junior team members and participating in ongoing training and development.
Your Day-to-Day
You’ll start your day checking in with engineering and design leads, reviewing recent test results, and troubleshooting any unexpected outcomes. You’ll work collaboratively to develop hypotheses, plan next steps, and update the product roadmap. Throughout the week, you’ll prepare concise updates for senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. You’ll also facilitate cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear agendas, actionable outcomes, and follow-up on key deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirement
Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
Critical Skills
Experience: 2+ years in technical product management, preferably in healthcare technology or a related field.
Technical Acumen: Proven ability to work directly with software engineers on product enhancements; familiarity with modern tech stacks is a plus.
Product Leadership: Demonstrated experience owning product roadmaps, defining strategy, and making tradeoffs to deliver features that drive adoption.
Project Management: Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; experience with forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking. SQL is required.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Team Player: Experience leading or working within multi-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, clinical, business).
Location & Travel: Based in Boston with a hybrid work schedule. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required for customer visits or conferences.
