Inside McKesson’s HR Collaboration Week

At McKesson, we believe meaningful work happens when people come together with purpose. That’s why we launched HR Collaboration Week—a monthly initiative that brings our HR teams within commuting distance together on-site for three designated days. But this isn’t just about being in the office—it’s about working better, together.

During our first HR Collaboration Week, the energy was palpable. From spontaneous hallway conversations to strategic brainstorming sessions, our teams embraced the opportunity to connect in person. Whether it was a coffee chat, a walking meeting, or a team lunch, every moment was intentional and impactful.

As Andy Harrison, Senior Director of Enterprise Learning, shared, “It was great to see the team IRL! And I even snuck in a little walk outdoors with people I rarely see in person.” These simple yet powerful interactions are what make McKesson’s culture of care and collaboration come alive. 

We also captured the spirit of the week in a fun, behind-the-scenes vlog featuring our VP of Talent Acquisition, Lorelei Lampe, and Director of Talent Acquisition, Michelle Dominick. Their journey through HR Collaboration Week showcases the joy, creativity, and connection that define our workplace. From welcoming new teammates to solving challenges face-to-face, the week reminded us of the power of proximity in building trust and accelerating decision-making.
