The Extended Care Inventory Sales Support Analyst position will be responsible for coordinating all Supply Chain duties and responsibilities as it relates to key consumer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizes and leads all inventory related projects in support of key consumer accounts, which will include representing Supply Chain for sales- and customer-facing calls and support.
- Serves as key point of contact for cross-functional discussions between Sales, Customer, ISS, Fulfillment, Supplier Management, and Manufacturer for customer specific needs.
- Works with Materials Mgmt. employees to coordinate and effectively manage customer specific inventory transitions, while minimizing inventory risk and ensuring committed 98% customer order service level, and reducing the need for alternate item fulfillment.
- Serves as analytical resource to review and analyze item lists/formulary to determine accuracy of proposed information. This will include analyzing forecast accuracy as well as financial or supply chain risks associated with transitions between items/suppliers
- Communicates and reports statuses of business conditions for all areas of responsibility and proposes strategic inventory opportunities to ISS, Fulfillment, and Supply Chain Leadership.
- Leads process improvement initiatives as it relates to forecasting and order fulfillment, ensuring that customer expectations are met. This may include developing reporting tools to identify low DSI/expedite opportunities.
- Makes recommendations and presents to Supply Chain Leadership on timelines and required inventory budgets/expenditures to support assigned customer(s).
- Integrates effectively with team to ensure overall business unit goals are achieved
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
Business Experience:
- 2+ years Inventory Management
- Forecasting experience and understanding of demand planning concepts a plus
- Entry level experience in Project Management
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of analytical reporting tools (Access, Excel) strongly preferred
- Proven leadership skill set
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of multiple platforms/systems (JDE/E1) preferred
Job Grade – P2

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
