McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS) is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Growth Marketing Specialist to support our Growth Marketing team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, deadline driven, and has a basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and to contribute to the success of our marketing campaigns. This role will report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing and will collaborate closely across the Growth Marketing, Product & Customer Programs and Sales Enablement teams.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Execute key tactics aligned to marketing objectives to include email, print, webpages, and banner ads.
- Coordinate with our print vendor for marketing needs aligned to business objectives.
- Manage our lead queue and route leads to the appropriate sales representative aligned to our SLA.
- Partner with the Product Marketing team to execute key tactics for product launches and product-focused campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned and required by the Growth Marketing team.
Focus & Responsibilities
Project Management & Tactical Execution:
- Strong project management skills: ability to juggle multiple projects, organize and prioritize, and respond quickly to changes
- Execute assigned tactics to meet budget and deadline requirements.
- Partner with the Marketing Operations team on process improvements and feedback
- Collaborate with the Supplier Marketing team to execute assigned marketing tactics based on marketing services agreements (MSAs)
- Partner with the Product Marketing team on execution of tactics for product launches and product-focused campaigns
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a marketing support role
Critical Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong project & time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront and WordPress preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or similar relevant degree
Travel
- Must be located in or near Richmond, VA for onsite meetings and collaboration as needed
- Minimal travel for professional development / business meetings (~5%)

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
