The CGT Senior RFP Analyst is responsible for managing the entire Requestion for Proposal (RFP) process for Cell and Gene Therapy proposals, including reviewing incoming RFPs, coordinating within internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive responses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and leveraging resources across the enterprise, ultimately aiming to secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review incoming RFIs/RFPs to understand client requirements, identify key evaluation criteria, and assess potential risks and opportunities.
- Craft compelling and customized RFP responses, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and alignment with client evaluation criteria and needs, while highlighting the company’s unique value proposition.
- Mange the entire RFP response process, including timelines, deadlines, quality checks, and ensure all required documents are submitted accurately.
- Prepare impactful presentations to showcase the company’s capabilities to potential clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of our CGT service offerings and points of differentiation.
- Work cross-functionally to engage the appropriate business unit and functional resources to contribute content, review and approval all CGT RFIs/RFPs
- Collaborate with customer service, operations, quality, technology, pricing, and other SMEs as needed to answer all RFI/RFP questions thoroughly and accurately.
- Ensure legal review and approval prior to any RFI/RFP submission.
- Collaborate with marketing team, developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of marketing collateral and other marketing assets that can be leveraged in RFIs/RFP responses and presentations.
- Work cross-functionally to engage the appropriate business unit and functional resources to contribute content, review and approval all CGT RFIs/RFPs
- Collaborate with customer service, operations, quality, technology, pricing, and other SMEs as needed to answer all RFI/RFP questions thoroughly and accurately.

- Continuously evaluate and improve RFP/RFI processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve outcomes.
- Stay informed about competitor offerings and market trends to position the company effectively in RFP responses.
- Provide training and support to team members and other stakeholders involved in the RFP/RFI process to ensure best practices are followed.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, methodologies, and industry trends that can improve the RFP/RFI process and overall procurement strategy.
Minimum Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related filed
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
- Cell and Gene Therapy or specialty pharmaceutical experience preferred
- Familiarity with Biopharma services including third party logistics, specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution and patient support services
- Strong understanding of RFP processes and best practices
- Demonstrated experience creating RFIs/RFP
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong project management skills and excellent time management skills
- Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to build relationship and influence in a cross functional, highly matrixed environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with RFP response and proposal management software (i.e., Qvidian)

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
