McKesson MMS is seeking a Sr. Associate EDI Specialist responsible for supporting MMS Contract Administration in the execution of EDI implementations and the optimization of corresponding processes as needed by the business using applications like SAP, Snowflake, Power BI and SQL. In this role you will communicate with EDI partners for rollout, testing and issue resolution. You will work closely with the EDI Specialist to update suppliers from manual contract updates to electronic updates. Work is accomplished with little or no supervision. Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts and is given significant latitude in determining resolutions to work problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements for the electronic exchange of information and ensure that client systems and internal systems are compatible and connected.
- Manage/analyze change requests for new EDI project development and their respective interfaces to backend applications.
- Manage/Participate in the preparation of implementation plan.
- Participate in the post-implementation support.
- Written and Verbal communication with Internal and external business partners.
- Collaborate with process owners and technology stakeholders across different business units and functions to discover inefficiencies and drive process execution improvements.
- Utilize and create all dashboards, analyses, and reports within a process mining tool.
- Manage and prioritize all incoming requests for process mining enhancements.
- Build and execute functional tests scenarios for EDI interfaces with different IT partners.
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to identify key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously and adjusting priorities as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet company goals.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, or equivalent experience
Technical Qualifications
- Good overall EDI knowledge
- Business Knowledge of SAP, Snowflake, Power BI & SQL
- General knowledge of Wholesale/Distribution ERP Best practices Communication setup (including AS2).
