Join our team as a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Portfolio Analyst, leveraging your 2-4 years of experience in managing and analyzing product portfolios within the healthcare, pharmaceutical or supply distribution services. We seek a candidate with robust data analysis skills, product management expertise, and financial knowledge. Proficiency in Excel is crucial for excelling in this role

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor product performance and key performance indicators.
  • Identify product optimization opportunities and recommend strategic actions for performance enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for insights into product health and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to track and report on product lifecycle, requiring an understanding of digital product management processes.
  • Work with internal innovation, product management, and data insights teams to align product roadmaps with strategic initiatives and drive growth.
  • Assist in financial modeling, cost analysis, and budgeting for product portfolios.
  • Provide insights on revenue growth, pricing strategies, and profitability.
  • Support investment decisions with data-driven recommendations
  • Create and manage complex Excel models and tools for analyzing large data sets.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to streamline analysis.
  • Collect and interpret data from various sources, performing data cleaning and validation to generate actionable insights.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Product Management, or a related field.

Critical Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in product portfolio management, business data analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with digital product development processes and tools.
  • Financial knowledge, including cost analysis and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, supply chain distribution, or a related industry.
  • Experience in data extraction, manipulation, statistical modeling, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Planview, Smartsheet, Workfront).
  • Understanding of product management fundamentals (technology or non-technology).
  • Financial acumen preferred.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$73,300 - $122,100
