This Manager, Financial Reporting and Analytics position will be a key contributor to the Company’s external SEC filings and core external reporting function. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting & Analytics.
Responsibilities
o Support core external reporting function – footnote preparation, 10-Q/10-K review, disclosure review
o Support MD&A, including gathering all supporting documentation
o Review materials relating to the Company’s earnings release, as well as assist with preparation of press release tables and respective disclosures
o Serve as a subject matter expert on US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements with the ability to research and analyze new and proposed accounting standards, as well as prepare competitor benchmarking analysis as needed
o Analyze various accounting and reporting requirements to ensure our reporting and analysis provide accurate and meaningful information for our executives and other stakeholders
o Perform in-depth financial analysis of consolidated Non-GAAP results, operating segments results and business unit results monthly to identify key drivers of variances to prior year and forecast, as well as any emerging trends of our operations / industry
o Assist with review and validation of the accuracy of the Board materials
o Drive process improvements within the team and support cross-functional projects
o Ad hoc projects as needed
Required Experience & Education
o Typically requires 6+ years of accounting or finance experience
o Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or related field / Master’s degree preferred
o Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent experience
Critical Skills
o Experience in public accounting. Experience in SEC reporting, preferably in a large, complex global business
o Comprehensive understanding of SEC rules & regulations, technical accounting, GAAP vs non-GAAP accounting, and comment letter processes
o Strong systems skills - experience using Hyperion Financial Management or Essbase, and Microsoft Excel required
Additional Knowledge/Skills
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to work independently, manage, and prioritize various responsibilities
o Additional systems skills - experience using SAP, Oracle, and/or Workiva are preferred
Travel Requirements
Must have ability to travel up to 10% of the time

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
