Current Need
The McKesson Medical-Surgical team is looking for a Marketing Manager, Supplier Marketing to join the team in Richmond, VA.
Position Description
Are you a skilled marketer with experience in defining marketing strategy and project management? We’re looking for a marketer who can think outside the box while helping to build marketing programs for our healthcare manufacturers (i.e. suppliers). Someone who can build relationships across a matrixed environment and execute on current supplier marketing programs.
A supplier marketer has 15+ suppliers that they work with throughout the year. Your marketing expertise is vital to ensuring that we deliver consistent, exceptional supplier marketing programs, while at the same time balancing the need to meet our internal goals and objectives. Programs range from large multi-channel, year-long programs to smaller, focused programs, all with the goal of driving awareness and sales for our suppliers’ products. Success in this role will be measured by the successful implementation of programs along with maintaining or increasing supplier investment in marketing programs.

In this role you will:
Be accountable for management and financial contribution goals of an assigned segment of the marketing services program:
- Turn supplier needs and business opportunities into compelling messages and campaigns that engage our audiences.
- Facilitate the annual planning process, including discovery, strategic alignment, multi-channel recommendations and calendarization of services.
- Manage program funnel and maintain annual views of portfolio.
- Develop, launch, and sell new services & programs to suppliers.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure that additional inputs into annual plans are considered.
- Support large scale supplier events to ensure a positive supplier experience
- Work with a broad team to develop, execute and maintain marketing services agreements.
- Partner with Marketing teams to successfully implement your marketing strategy & needs.

- Detail-oriented: Track and manage MSA details for multiple suppliers, manage and communicate issues.
- Bring an analytical mindset to the process: Conduct supplier needs analysis to ensure program relevance and value, identify program growth opportunities, assess, and evaluate existing programs and plans to identify opportunities for performance improvement
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of marketing experience.
Critical Skills
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Experience influencing cross-functionally. Strong communication skills – interpersonal, written, and visual.
- Business maturity, with the ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize.
- Deadline-driven task management experience with proven success.
- Strong skills in MS Office.

Education
4-year degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience. HS diploma required.
Physical Requirements
- Traditional office environment
- Large percent of time performing desk-based work (computer, telephone) is required
- Travel less than 10%

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
