McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking a Project Manager to support key initiatives for Extended Care (EC) Sales. The Project Manager will assist in driving strategy and executing on visible projects and important initiatives for the business. Effective communication, strategic thinking, influencing and stakeholder management, and strong organizational skills are all essential for success in this role. Specifically, this role will be crucial in efforts that drive our private label growth, advance our technology and data initiatives, and support our sales teams with account and territory maintenance.
The role is based in Richmond, VA, and the ideal candidate will have the ability and desire both to work remotely and in the office.
·Lead cross-functional and complex projects and oversee all aspects of the project from start to finish.
·Identify key project stakeholders and partner cross-functionally to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive decision making, outcomes, and project delivery.
· Demonstrate core project management skills and and quickly put structure into place to manage a dynamic, complex environment
·Lead multiple projects simultaneously and move projects forward in the face of ambiguity.
·Manage key relationships and build a process to track and nurture key stakeholders.
·Design, develop, and maintain project plans in a dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
·Provide analysis, recommendations, and options to leaders and stakeholders regarding high impact decisions.
·Address and resolve project challenges quickly while maintaining alignment with project scope, objectives, and outcomes.
·Cultivate a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and adaptability to achieve the best outcome for the broader team.
·Prepare project status reports, summaries, and updates for executive audiences as well as broader teams with varying degrees of product knowledge / context.
·Display persistent and steadfast focus on long-term objectives despite obstacles, discouragement, or distraction.
·Promote a “digital mindset” and act as a champion for digital transformation initiatives, advocating for their importance and driving adoption throughout the organization.
·Support the daily operations of Extended Care Sales alongside the Chief of Staff, including leadership meetings, all-team calls, and communications.

Ideal Experience / Critical Skills
·Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization – both written and verbal.
·Strong problem solving and influencing skills.
·Experience with data analysis.
·Experience directing and organizing multiple departments and teams.
·Very versatile, able to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
·Experience leading and planning strategic initiatives.
·Consulting experience with an operations, sales, and/or management focus.
·Adaptable business mind with the ability to think strategically.
·Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and other Project Management tools.
·Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our culture.
·A proactive mindset with integrity, fairness, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s Degree
· 5+ years of project management experience
·Experience identifying stakeholder needs and requirements to achieve an identified outcome
Preferred Qualifications:
·Masters / MBA degree
· 6+ years of Project Management experience
·PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Location
·Prefer candidate to be based in Richmond, VA.
·Some periodic travel may be required (~ four times per year)

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
