Job Summary
Reporting to the President of the Specialty Health business unit, the Transformation Lead will be responsible for leading the CRM technology upgrade to Salesforce across our Patient Support & Specialty Pharmacy organizations. This role will focus on driving business transformation and ensuring the successful implementation of Salesforce to enhance customer relationship management. The Transformation Lead will serve as the primary point of contact for the business, acting as the liaison with IT and Salesforce to ensure alignment with strategic business goals and seamless execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the CRM technology upgrade to Salesforce for all of Specialty Health, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful implementation.
- Partner with key stakeholders in the business and technology teams to support project management processes and provide transparency into the health, spend, and strategic alignment of the project.
- Conduct project-wide analysis and advise on pipeline and delivery risk, including sequencing, dependencies, capacity, forecasting, and the execution of quality and timely delivery.
- Manage project management artifacts, decisions, communications, metrics, and reporting. Develop and present executive communications tailored to the audience.
- Monitor alignment of prioritized projects against resource capacity and partner with delivery teams to balance capacity and demand.
- Advise business leadership on project health – analyze and articulate project risk and budget variance.
- Understand and contribute to decisions on project issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Continuously improve the project governance and planning capability by integrating optimal ways of planning, organizing, acquiring, implementing, delivering, and supporting the CRM solution.
- Build trusted and effective relationships with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, on-benefit, and on-quality delivery.
- Participate in discussions and activities regarding project funding, resourcing, and prioritization while advocating for the business.
- Navigate processes for funding and execution of the CRM upgrade project.
- Lead the development of key metrics and KPIs to assess project and operations health.
- Apply knowledge of project and program management to solve problems in unique and non-repetitive scenarios.
- Facilitate the project forecasting process and provide revised forecasts and variances to management.
- Serve as a counselor and catalyst for business leaders in identifying areas for technology improvement and/or technology use improvement.
- Maintain the systematic flow of projects into the portfolio and out of the portfolio for project closure.
- Work with the team to meet division goals and be part of an enthusiastic team that depends on measures to define success.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years in progressively responsible business transformation positions or relevant area of business (project/program management, resource management, financial analysis).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience is required.
Key Competencies
- Master’s Degree is considered an advantage.
- PMP Certification or equivalent experience, although not mandatory, is considered an asset.
- Prior experience leading diverse and collaborative relationships across multiple teams.
- Financial acumen with experience in roles involving budgetary responsibility including forecasting and trending project financials is a plus.
- Experience using project and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, etc.).
- Effective leadership, training, presentation skills, and experience leading multiple, highly diverse teams to achieve/deliver results.
- Leadership experience and proven ability to collaborate and influence decisions.
- Proven experience in project management, especially CRM technology upgrades.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
