Specific Responsibilities
- Responsible for general oversight of program operations including departmental initiatives, budget management, tracking and reporting
- Contribute to overall responsibility for the implementation of budgets.
- Explain the on-going status of programs and services through the preparation of monthly financial business reviews
- Create and present data, insights and information for business reviews and other key strategic initiatives
- Oversight of the KPIs/SLAs and AR to ensure that programs are successful in all facets
- Ensure program managers are supported and drive strategic initiatives for all programs
- Responsible to ensure operational efficiencies and look for continuous improvement opportunities
- Support the planning, development and implementation of patient access strategies, program operations and messaging.
- Manage and maintain client relationships as true partners of McKesson
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to improve access for patients and health care professionals.
- Establish regular touch points with direct reports and quarterly review of goals and objectives
- Responsible for team engagement, growth, development, and succession planning. Provide and support performance management of program teams
- Foster teamwork, and collaboration within McKesson ecosystem
- Lead and assist in the development and management of customer contracts/SOWs.
- Identify business development or expanded service opportunities within existing client base, and actively work with the Business Development staff to develop proposals; participate in presentations, sales and marketing efforts, trade shows and other networking activities as required.
- Ensure all training, both corporate and program specific, are up to date and complying with QMS requirements.
- Participates in implementation and support of quality initiatives as it relates to the program
- Other duties as required
Key Requirements: (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experiences)
- Post secondary education, undergraduate in business or healthcare
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive growth in the healthcare industry
- Minimum of 5+ years people leadership experience
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate, influence and coach others.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Flexibility to travel across North America (approx. 10% travel)
- Experience in data management/reporting tools is an asset.
- Patient Support Program experience preferred
Supervision and Communication
Communication:
- Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written) with internal and external customers and stakeholders.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
