Title: Sr. Administrative Assistant - Corporate Affairs
Preferred location: Dallas, TX
Other locations: Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; Richmond, VA and Washington, DC
The Administrative Assistant will support the SVP, Corporate Affairs and members of his leadership team on a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks with the ability to be a true partner and gatekeeper for the team.The individual will be a highly resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. The Administrative Assistant will exercise good judgment in various situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, while balancing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support, including preparing communications, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes using appropriate business software applications.
Proactively maintain and manage schedules for cross-functional, multi-person and multi-time zone meetings to optimize time and efficiency.
Arrange business travel and coordinate meeting arrangements, ensuring seamless logistics for all stakeholders.
Track and manage expenses, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Effectively convey executives' directives and information to leaders and team members, ensuring timely follow-up on assignment progress.
Assist executive leaders to communicate regularly inside and outside the organization by using the appropriate media and timing.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within a corporate setting supporting executives.
Critical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business software applications.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail – produces well thought-out, professional correspondence free of grammatical and spelling errors.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Professional, calm demeanor and presentation, with strong interpersonal skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
Strong sense of urgency, flexibility, and adaptability.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.An associate degree or higher in business administration or a related field is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
