As the Pricing Business Intelligence Manager, you will be asked to translate ambiguous market trends and competitive dynamics into actionable pricing strategies that optimize growth and mitigate financial risk. Support the development of cross-segment pricing models, leveraging in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and complex financial modeling. Communicate market insights and competitive intelligence to leadership and drive the implementation of strategic pricing objectives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis to influence health systems and SCS pricing strategy for industry changes and market events.
- Collaborate with the pricing, national accounts, professional advisory and services, and financial systems teams to operationalize new pricing strategies.
- Lead training initiatives to educate stakeholders on market events and the related pricing strategies.
- Model generation of key business drivers for annual and strategic planning. Includes and is not limited to analyses of market trends, product movement, and market events.
- Ad-Hoc analysis that explains business changes, candidates need to be able to think through problems presented to management and determine what analysis answers their questions.
- Works on highly complex projects where analysis of situations requires in-depth knowledge of pricing processes, tools, and systems to articulate defined strategies for long-term success.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Critical Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on pricing strategy.
- Advanced MS Excel & MS PowerPoint; highly proficient at financial modeling and the manipulation of large sets of data in a replicable and sustainable manner.
- Results Orientation: must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, be able to deliver results, and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed expectations.
- Exceptional data analytics and research skills to identify trends and provide resolutions to an assortment of moderately complex business needs
- Ability to interpret financial data and communicate results clearly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary: 98,500.00 - 131,300.00 - 164,100.00 USD Annual (Target 120K with 15% MIP)
P4: Individual Contributor Role
