Current Need
We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Senior Manager, M&A Finance to work with our Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services M&A Finance | US Oncology Valuations team in Irving, TX or The Woodlands, TX. The Senior Manager, M&A Finance will be responsible for supporting US Oncology Network practices and Business Unit M&A activity in the following aspects: financial modeling in MS Excel, forecasting, capital deployment economic feasibility analyses, financial modeling related to contract renewals/extensions, joint ventures, valuations, and other ad-hoc projects that support the finance team and business partners within McKesson.
Position Description
The Senior Manager, M&A Finance will analyze financial statements, balance sheets, trending analyses, analyzing historical financial results, and create useful financial schedules. The Senior Manager, M&A Finance is part of a team responsible for US Oncology Network practice growth and support as well as a team responsible for building financial operating models related to M&A opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Using available data, build financial pro formas and conduct analyses.
- Translate financial statements and capital needs to a discounted cash flow analysis.
- Analyze income statements, margins, and operating expenses.
- Develop financial pro formas measuring the economic viability of capital investments related to US Oncology Network practice opportunities.
- Support M&A Finance lead related to financial modeling and due diligence.
- Participate in special projects.
- Carry out any other tasks as requested by your supervisor.
- Attend business partner team meeting/relationship management.
- Prepare management and executive level presentations related to deals and capital deployment.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant field of study. MBA preferred.
Critical Skills
- 7+ years of working knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements, balance sheets, develop business cases, and conduct discounted cash flow analyses, etc.
- Track record of driving result of multiple deliverables, simultaneously, with a strong sense of urgency
- Strategic, innovative, and collaborative thinking with a desire to work in a changing environment.
- Ability to improve existing processes and make recommendations
- Ability to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and drive results in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams
- Exceptional data analytics and research skills to identify and provide resolutions to an assortment of moderately complex deal structures
- Experience analyzing and interpreting large amounts of practice data through use of databases
- Utilize financial systems to inform business case development
- Proficient MS Excel skills
- Strong internal and external customer service and communications skills
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to interpret financial data and communicate results clearly (written and verbal); translate numbers into stories
- Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to changing environment
Salary: 96,900.00 - 129,200.00 - 161,500.00 USD Annual with 15% MIP (Target 129,200)
