Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager will play a critical role in advancing Ontada's digital communications strategy. This position is responsible for digital marketing campaign planning including website, SEO/SEM, email and social media across all digital channels. He/she will also be responsible for implementing, tracking, reporting and optimizing our digital marketing strategy to enhance brand presence, and drive engagement across multiple channels, including web, social media, and internal platforms.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role will work closely with multiple stakeholders including marketing team, external vendors and others. lead a small team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful digital solutions that support McKesson’s healthcare and pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital media strategy that aligns with Ontada business goals.
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, and advertising campaigns.
- Work with external vendor to continue to grow our social media presence, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning.
- Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Analyze digital performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital campaigns and content adjusting strategies based on data insights and business needs.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
- Champion digital innovation, recommending and implementing new technologies and processes to improve engagement and streamline workflows for both SO&G and Masters Pharmaceutical communications.
- Create regular reports highlighting key metrics, trends and opportunities for improvement.
Minimum Requirement
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Digital Marketing, Social Media, SEO) is a plus.
Critical Skills
- 4 years in digital media, digital marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of strategy development, execution, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and project management tools.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform digital content strategies and decisions.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for storytelling and engaging a diverse range of audiences.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B testing
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, especially oncology a plus.
- Experience marketing to Life Science organizations
- Proactive with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines
- Self-directed and motivated
- Willingness to jump in and get things done
- A high degree of intellectual curiosity

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
