POSITION: Lead Software Developer

LOCATION: 6555 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039

JOB DUTIES: Provide services to design and program new and/or modify existing warehouse management system programs within SAFe Agile Framework. Assume a leadership role and mentor developers. Provide production support for warehouse management system to keep distribution center downtime to a minimum. Provide superior customer service to external/internal clients, including response to incidents, proactively notifying customers of issues, and assessing and communicating business impact. Participate in on-call support rotation. Resolve IT incidents through resolution and as a point of contact. Implement software and hardware projects within budget timeline and scope definitions. Communicate with business owners to understand requirements. Telecommuting allowed within the Dallas metro area. 20% of domestic travel required for warehouse visits for requirements gathering, problem resolution or system implementations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field and Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Experience must include two (2) years in the following skills:

  • WMS applications programming;
  • Solution design;
  • Programming in RPG, RPGLE, RPGSQL, RPG Free, DDS, and CL;
  • IBMi (AS400/I series) platform (operating system, DB2 database);
  • Embedded SQL;
  • Using MQ communication protocols;
  • Application development tools: IDE (RDi), SDA, DFU, Hawkeye, JIRA, FTP, SQL developer and putty LMi (Aldon) Change Management application;
  • Working with Manhattan software;
  • Working in Agile environment; and
  • Implementing complex systems.

OFFERED WAGE: $133,100 - $221,900/year
