The Bulk Case Pick Supervisor will oversee the efficient and effective operations of the bulk case picking process within our warehouse. This role involves managing a team of pickers, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Schedule: 10 am - completion Monday - Friday Full time
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of bulk case pickers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure orders are picked accurately and efficiently, meeting all customer and company standards.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, order fulfillment, and employee performance.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure high standards of order accuracy.
- Address and resolve employee concerns and performance issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to streamline operations.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely, reporting any issues to maintenance as needed.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, noisy).
