 L’Analyste, Comptabilité sera responsable de superviser et d’effectuer la préparation des états financiers, de s’assurer (a) du respect des politiques et pratiques de comptabilité et de contrôle, (b) de l’intégrité des rapports comptables et de gestion provenant des divers systèmes et (c) de protéger les actifs. L’Analyste, Comptabilité fait partie d’une équipe responsable des contrôles et des données financières pour la distribution pharmaceutique et s’assure que les processus reliés à l’information financière sont complétés dans les délais prescrits.

Responsabilités spécifiques

  • Supervise et effectue la préparation des états financiers;

  • Supervise et effectue des analyses sur les résultats et les conciliations mensuelles des comptes de bilan et assure les suivis requis;

  • Responsable d’assurer l’intégrité des systèmes financiers et que l'information financière est tenue à jour avec précision et en temps opportun et recommande des améliorations au contrôle interne;

  • Supervise et effectue la préparation des rapports requis par l’unité d’affaires et par l’équipe corporative de consolidation;

  • Agit en tant que partenaire d’affaires avec les différents secteurs d’activités de la distribution pharmaceutique;

  • Supervise et assure un suivi et une communication régulière sur les dossiers de comptabilité et d’analyse financière;

  • Veille à ce que les politiques de l'entreprise soient respectées;

  • Contribue à identifier et gérer les risques et les opportunités de l’unité d’affaires et de faire des recommandations proactives pour minimiser les risques et maximiser les opportunités;

  • Supporte au besoin l’équipe responsable de gérer le processus de prévision à cycle continu ainsi que le processus budgétaire annuel;

  • Contribue aux projets spéciaux;

  • Effectue toutes les autres tâches exigées par son superviseur.

Exigences du poste

  • Baccalauréat avec diplôme en comptabilité ou finance

  • Minimum de 3-5 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire

  • Titre professionnel CPA ou en voie de l’obtenir

  • Bilingue (Français et Anglais)

  • Excellentes compétences en organisation/planification avec un sens de l’urgence

  • Capacité de gérer des échéances serrées dans un environnement en changement

  • Capacité de travailler dans un environnement interfonctionnel et avec des personnes de différents niveaux

  • Excellentes aptitudes de communication, à l’écrit et à l’oral

  • Solides compétences en analyse, et capacité d’établir des liens clairs entre les résultats financiers et les indicateurs de performance opérationnelle

  • Excellentes compétences en utilisation de SAP et de la suite MS Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint)

  • Souci du détail

Le.la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l’extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral. Veuillez noter que le nombre de postes dont les tâches requièrent une connaissance de la langue anglaise a été restreint dans la mesure du possible.

Job summary

The Analyst, Accounting will be in charge of overseeing and carrying out the preparation of financial statements and ensuring (a) adherence to accounting and control policies and practices, (b) the integrity of management and accounting reports from various systems and (c) the safeguarding of assets. The Analyst, Accounting is part of a team responsible for pharmaceutical distribution controls and financial data and ensures financial information processes are completed within deadlines.

Specific responsibilities

  • Oversee and carry out the preparation of financial statements.

  • Oversee, conduct and follow-up on analyses of monthly results and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

  • Ensure the integrity of financial systems is maintained, ensure financial information is maintained up-to-date in a timely and precise manner, and recommend improvements to internal controls.

  • Oversee and carry out the preparation of reports required by the business unit and the corporate consolidation team.

  • Act as a business partner for the various pharmaceutical distribution business sectors.

  • Oversee, follow-up on and provide regular updates on financial analysis and accounting files.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Help identify and manage business unit risks and opportunities and proactively make recommendations to minimize these risks and maximize opportunities.

  • Support the team in charge of managing the rolling forecast process and the annual budget process, as needed.

  • Support special projects as needed.

  • Carry out any other tasks as requested by your supervisor

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance 

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role

  • CPA professional title or in the process of obtaining it

  • Bilingual (French and English)

  • Outstanding organizational and planning skills, with a sense of urgency

  • Adept at managing tight deadlines in a changing environment

  • Able to work in a cross-functional environment with people from different corporate levels

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and able to establish clear links between financial results and operational performance indicators

  • Strong computer skills – SAP and MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Attention to detail

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$68,000 - $113,400
