The Director, Inventory Strategy will be responsible for managing the risk and success of products throughout their lifecycle. This role will collaborate with our strategic partners in Product Sourcing, Distribution, and Transportation to ensure all aspects of our supply chain have the capacity to procure and sell-through inventory. New product launches of our private label McKesson Brands items, product returns to suppliers, and reconciliation of demand forecasts are all part of this role.
- Creating and managing S&OP tools and processes
- Overseeing Global and Domestic procurement during initial product launches
- Assessing buy-ins at new product launch
- Assessing the risk and return of buy-ins for various investment purposes
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure space and capacity are available to support our long term inventory plans
- Assessing the risk of inventory as it approaches end-of-life or as sales fail to support current levels

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
