Lead Project Manager (P5)

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager to join our Finance Services and Solutions (FSS) team. The candidate will be responsible for leading complex programs and initiatives that deliver significant financial, operational, and customer and employee satisfaction impacts. 

You will be the strategic partner to the leadership team within FSS and Corporate Finance enabling and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the project through all phases from initiation to completion.  A deep understanding of all corporate finance functions and experience implementing financial applications is highly desired.

The selected candidate will support complex projects as a program lead, coordinating work across multiple workstreams, cooperating with the business stakeholders to ensure alignment, and collaborating to ensure a comprehensive solution that meets requirements and expectations.  Additionally, the role will coach and mentor project managers across the team and act as an informal leader.

The position reports to the Sr. Director of the Corporate Finance PMO.  

Project Execution

  • Lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of highly complex programs across FSS such as technology implementations, and transformations.
  • Ensure adherence to project goals, timelines and budget – primarily supporting the business in remaining focused on high priority capabilities and managing scope-creep with a rigorous strategic approach.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple vendors and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and in accordance with agreed upon quality standards.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, deliver progress updates to stakeholders, lead SteerCo meetings and maintain project documentation and artifacts as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle by leading the business towards effective prioritization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project success.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices, driving efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and working relationships with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Consultation Skills

  • Keen awareness of the goals and objectives of a program and their connection to overall strategy.
  • Engage with executive and leadership stakeholders to gain support, influence decision-making and ensure project alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with the relevant functional leadership and building in-depth knowledge of the strategic priorities for each functional and understand how they operate.
  • Ability to absorb and process large quantities of disparate information, synthesize quickly and connect dots across workstreams where appropriate
  • Support business case development with input from all relevant stakeholders and support the business to present to leadership team for approval.
  • Strong interpersonal and consulting skills – ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions that drive results; an excellent listener that seeks to understand multiple viewpoints; effective at influencing, facilitating, and problem solving
  • Build strong and trusting relationships across multiple teams and departments and collaborate with business leaders to execute plans

Change Leadership

  • Champion for change to ensure adoption of solutions across the organization
  • Acting a change lead, if one is not assigned on the program

Desired Skills

  • Experience as a project manager over large, complex, and Enterprise-wide technology implementations
  • Expert level Project Management understanding and strong financial business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to understand and identify the connections between specific projects and the key strategic objectives
  • Ability to think through, organize and assist with leading multiple projects and tasks concurrently
  • Ability to facilitate and communicate effectively in a hybrid environment
  • Expert Verbal/written communication skills in English

Additional Skills

  • Experience supporting matrixed teams and experience supporting projects across functional boundaries
  • Demonstrated ability to influence with limited authority
  • Resourceful with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset

Degree, certification and experience:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) and/or Project Management Institute (PMP) certification is a plus.

Salary: 130,700.00 - 174,300.00 - 217,900.00 USD Annual (20% MIP)

Starting Pay is between $155,000 to $174,000 based on skills and qualifications for this role in the Las Colinas, Texas area

$130,700 - $217,900
