Program Overview
McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:
- A real-life working environment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Analyst Intern to join our transportation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in transportation analytics and supply chain management. The intern will work closely with our business team and internal partners to develop and improve transportation processes and strategies.
Responsibilities:
Develop KPI (Key Performance Indicator) Reports:
- Create and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for the business team using Power BI.
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Process Improvement:
- Utilize common transportation tools and methodologies to enhance processes for the team, internal partners, and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and track their impact.
Project Coordination
- Assist with ongoing projects such as Optimization/Insourcing strategies, Track and Trace initiatives, and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) utilization.
- Provide support in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
Freight Pay Review
- Review and analyze freight pay processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop strategies to optimize freight payment processes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement and monitor improvements.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (e.g., Oracle Transportation Management) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
