Program Overview
McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:
- A real-life working environment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to support our Patient Support Services programs and navigation services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and a keen interest in healthcare. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and project support within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient support programs and navigation services.
- Gather and analyze data from various programs to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Support the team in preparing detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation related to ongoing projects, initiatives, and business reviews.
Meetings & Brainstorming:
- Participate in meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new initiatives.
- Provide insights and suggestions based on data analysis to drive new projects and initiatives.
Database Management
- Help maintain and update internal databases and systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and updates.
Modelling and Analytical Reports
- Assist in designing and developing models and analytical reports.
- Evaluate and track current state operations and simulate future state operations to identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present complex data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience or coursework in data analysis, healthcare, or business administration is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
