We’re currently seeking a seasoned Director of Product Management with a proven track record in managing and leading teams of Product Managers and Product Owners. Our ideal candidate will possess robust data skills and the ability to create compelling business cases and presentations. This role will be pivotal in shaping product strategy, driving growth, and ensuring delivery of differentiated value in the market.
*Candidate must reside in the metropolitan area of our hub city Columbus, OH area. Position will primarily allow for remote working with occasional in-office support for presence for key meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of Product Management your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect:
Team Leadership & Development:
Guide and nurture a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, fostering an environment where open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork thrive.
Encourage continuous learning and professional growth, supporting team members to reach their full potential.
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
Collaborate with senior management to define and refine a product strategy that aligns with company objectives, while integrating diverse perspectives and insights.
Ensure the roadmap reflects the dynamic needs of the market and our clients, balancing innovation with practicality.
Financial Oversight:
Oversee product P&L, ROI, and Total Addressable Market (TAM) penetration, ensuring that financial goals are met with a focus on sustainable growth.
Value Delivery:
Lead the team in delivering products that provide clear, differentiated value to the market, with a strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs.
Strategic Communication & Influence:
Articulate and translate organizational and functional strategies into actionable goals, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Define the vision for product lines and manage all lifecycle stages, encouraging input and innovation from team members to enhance business requirements, development, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Build and maintain effective relationships with Commercial and Operations teams to enhance product effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Industry Expertise & Insight:
Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to inform product strategy and drive competitive advantage.
Complex Project Leadership:
Lead projects of substantial scope and complexity, ensuring integrated approaches and successful outcomes.
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Master’s degree preferred), and typically requires 12+ years of successful experience in product management, strategy, development, or business integration, and includes 4+ years of people management experience
Strong data analysis skills and experience in creating business cases and presentations.
Demonstrated success in developing product strategies and roadmaps.
Experience with P&L management and driving ROI.
Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse teams.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders effectively.
Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and market trends is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
