CoverMyMeds is currently seeking a dynamic candidate for Sr. Proposal Analyst to work from home anywhere in the United States. The Sr. Proposal Analyst shares responsibility for the strategic development and the execution of concise, compelling, customer-focused written materials that promotes CoverMyMeds manufacturer service offerings with clear statements of value to current and potential customers.
The Sr. Proposal Analyst will actively participate in a wide array of marketing and new business development activities. This includes providing support as needed for high quality written materials by writing, editing, and proofreading proposals, presentations, web-based communications, and related marketing materials for varied audiences and ensuring compliance with writing and branding guidelines. The Sr. Proposal Analyst is directly responsible for acknowledging receipt of, analyzing, developing proposal responses and delivering the finished proposals to the requesting party within the established deadline. The Analyst will work collaboratively across all business unit segments and peer Operations, Marketing, Sales and Legal Contract employees to answer all RFP questions. The Sr Proposal Analyst will support metrics, pipeline tracking reports and management of proposal responses with new or complex solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops proposals and templates to support new business acquisition by effectively translating sales strategies into detailed proposal content and by providing input into the strategic positioning of the response; responsible for the quality and accuracy of assigned proposals; facilitates and manage processes that solicit input from internal stakeholders and subject experts for project execution; collaborates with sales, marketing, and other experts.
- Works on production timeline content creation in the areas of: writing and delivery, researching, editing, proof reading, designing and submission.
- Review and evaluate overall quality of the proposal ensuring it is aligned with strategic approach for the specific client needs.
- Ensure the final submission to the client is an accurate representation of the key stakeholder needs, customized solution being recommended, as well as the solution value to the client. (80% of time)
- Work in conjunction with content manager, subject matter experts, business development and sales, marketing professionals, and senior leaders to develop broad business unit capability responses to commonly asked questions.
- Conducts research and collects responses to specific proposal questions and stores them in a database of common responses for re-use in proposals, presentations, web-based communication and other customer-facing written materials. (10% of time)
- Regularly engage in targeted activities designed to enhance the proposal process as well as quality of proposal submissions in order to promote CoverMyMeds’ value proposition and capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
- Progressive proposal management or marketing experience including proposal development and management, project management, analysis and marketing communications.
- Preference for APMP certification.
- Preference for pharmaceutical manufacturing or pharmaceutical services industry
- Previous experience in supporting a sales team with unique sales solutions, proposal support, client engagement, and industry knowledge.
- Experience in the specialty healthcare or pharmaceutical segment with understanding of healthcare continuum and relationship between manufacturers, providers and payers
- Knowledge of proposal best practices, research processes, analysis, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent grammar, vocabulary, research, writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency with CRM Software such as Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education
Degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
