SCRI is looking for a Change Manager to join our Strategy and Transformation team to help advance key business strategies. The Change Manager will be responsible for supporting end-to-end change management plans to effectively support complex projects and drive colleague adoption of transformational change initiatives (people, process, or technology changes) to achieve expected outcomes.The Change Manager will collaborate closely with business leaders and program managers to develop effective communications, trainings, documentation, and other deliverables as defined by projects and as needed for effective change management. As the Change Manager, you will report to the Director of Strategy and Transformation and be an integral part of SCRI's ever-evolving business.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support business and system transformation efforts in a project management and change management capacity

  • Build and implement tailored change management solutions to meet the needs of the business and/or project

  • Partner with business owners to develop and execute stakeholder plans and change leadership activities in close collaboration with team leaders

  • Seek to understand varying concerns and perspectives across stakeholder groups and functional areas (e.g., leadership, physicians, research staff, IT)

  • Report to senior leaders on project initiatives, key results and insights to drive accountability and awareness

  • Craft engaging, relevant, and valuable deliverables that resonate with the intended audience

  • Facilitate meaningful change and foster collaboration to achieve expected results

  • Articulate the case for change and evaluate change readiness across impacted teams

  • Ensure effective and on-time delivery of training materials by business owners and/or Training & Education partners

  • Manage sustained change to deliver value to the business

  • Measure and evaluate program effectiveness and/or track progress

  • Build strong and trusting relationships across multiple teams and departments

  • During your employment with SCRI, you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.

Competencies: The baseline knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed to be successful in the position. 

Knowledge:A body of information needed to perform tasks; May be obtained through education, training or experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of, and experience in, change management principles and methodology

  • Foundational understanding of Project Management with general business acumen

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, including but not limited to MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio

Skills:The proficiency to perform a certain task.

  • Communication: tailoring written and verbal communications to effectively deliver key messages at all levels of the organization

  • Leadership: Motivating, influencing and gaining commitment at all levels of the organization

  • Strategic Thinking: Absorb and process large quantities of disparate or complex information, synthesize quickly and connect dots across workstreams where appropriate

  • Critical Thinking: Understand teams, processes, and dynamics with limited exposure or experience to effectively assess needs and deliver practical solutions

  • Proactive Project Execution: Work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, handling multiple, changing priorities with excellent attention to detail and consistent follow-through

  • Content Creation: Conceptualize complex topics in written form or with slide visualizations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in change management

  • Change Management Certification preferred (Prosci or other related certification)

  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred (Green Belt)

  • Project Management Institute Certification preferred (PMP)
