Program Overview
McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:
- A real-life working environment

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner Intern to join our Product Innovation team. In this role, you will assist Product Owners in planning and prioritizing the business roadmap, identifying opportunities to enhance pharmacy and clinic workflows, and improving patient experiences. You will also be involved in the business discovery process, gathering and documenting business requirements, and supporting product teams with tasks such as writing user stories and creating test plans. This internship offers hands-on experience in product management, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare projects.
Responsibilities:
Business Roadmap Planning:
- Assist Product Owners with planning and prioritizing the business roadmap for our team. This involves understanding the strategic objectives and aligning them with the product development goals.
Opportunity Identification:
- Collaborate with business teams to uncover opportunities that enhance pharmacy and clinic workflows as well as improve patient experiences. You will be instrumental in helping to identify and propose solutions that drive efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Business Discovery & Requirements Documentation:
- Assist in the business discovery process, including gathering and documenting business requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are captured accurately and comprehensively.
Support Product teams:
- Aid product teams by writing user stories, creating test plans, and performing other supportive tasks. Your contributions will ensure that the development process aligns with the business requirements and delivers value to our users.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of agile methodologies and product management principles is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
