Position Summary:

The DC Coordinator will be responsible for performing a broad range of site activities to proactively meet the business’ needs.

The DC Coordinator will work closely with Distribution Center leaders to provide support including (but not limited to) employee onboarding, training, policies and procedures adherence, project management and various administrative functions.

Additionally, the DC Coordinator will support the broader McKesson-wide implementation of various enterprise-wide programs developed including, employee engagement activities, and other duties as assigned. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts new hire orientation and employee onboarding that includes review of all local and enterprise policies and procedures while providing a positive employee experience.
  • Assists with, and sometimes conducts, annual site trainings/information sessions to ensure all employees receive mandatory compliance training and sign off.
  • Assists or conducts training of employees in various functions
  • Assists the in monitoring and completing the new hire training program.  Works closely with management to assess training needs of both new hires and existing employees.
  • Provides annual safety and security re-training courses in order to meet company and government compliance policies.
  • Supports the broader McKesson-wide implementation of various enterprise-wide programs developed including, employee engagement activities, and other duties as assigned

Critical Skills:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills. 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management. 
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible hours. 
  • Enthusiastic and Positive Attitude

Education/Training

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required - 4 Year Bachelor’s degree preferred

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

  • Facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Prior experience in warehousing or operation administration preferred
  • Ability to become proficient at McKesson Operations Systems (i.e. SAP, Labor Management, Ariba, Accumax, Workday, etc.)
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity.

Working Conditions:

Environment

  • Will work in all areas of the business; office and warehouse.  Some areas which are temperature controlled.  Some exposure to bio-hazardous materials possible.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to perform order filling requirements if emergency exists.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$26.39 - $43.98
