The right candidate to join our FSS team can demonstrate the following competencies: embrace digital transformation, diverse and inclusive collaboration, strategic and analytical thinking, adaptability and growth mindset, and clear and impactful communication.

Role Summary: Responsible for oversight of McKesson return processes, Reverse Distributor performance, DC returns expense reduction and external customer returns revenue. Manager will lead operational strategy and day-to-day activities directly interfacing with internal and external stakeholders that impact the return to vendor process.  Senior Manager will collaborate and interact extensively with Reverse Distributor partners, DC Operations and Analytics teams to service the customer and DC return programs, while managing escalated issues as appropriate.

1. Responsibility 1: Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful and stable relationships with Reverse Distributors, McKesson Distribution Centers, Suppliers, and other internal stakeholders

  • Apply a hands-on approach to ensure contract compliance and oversight of operational KPIs, including impact analytics.
  • Hold partners accountable to understanding agreement commitments, flawless execution of third-party service agreements and onboarding new business opportunities.
  • Lead efforts to drive long-term strategies through review and redline of external partner agreements and contract amendments.

2. Responsibility 2: Drive continuous improvement in the McKesson reverse supply chain model bringing tangible value to our customers while growing EBIT for McKesson

  • Establish new external relationships with Reverse Distributors to increase Nexus revenue opportunities.
  • Champion strategies to reduce operating cost and working capital by identifying reverse logistics and supplier process opportunities.

3. Responsibility 3: Liaison between internal and external stakeholders relevant to develop and execute strategic initiatives

  • Champion development of internal and external partnerships to enhance responsiveness to customer and supplier needs to ensure internal and external understanding.
  • Utilize relationships to leverage expert knowledge to build recommendations and influence senior leadership decisions.
  • Provide guidance and promote collaboration with McKesson functional teams.

4. Responsibility 4:  Grow current Nexus reverse distributor relationships and revenue, through agreement renewals, while balancing opportunities to grow McKesson-owned returns programs

  • Develop and maintain Nexus agreements within SLAs

Identify opportunities for communication and troubleshooting resolution for McKesson customers, suppliers, and sales teams

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$93,800 - $156,300
