Job Title: Executive Information Technology Support Director
The Executive Information Technology Support Director will lead a team that provides top-notch technical assistance to McKesson C-level executives. This role involves urgent direction and oversight, offering excellent on-site and remote technical support. The Director will ensure that Executives have reliable IT solutions both at work and away from work.
Starting Pay is between $149,600.00 to $199,500.00
Key Responsibilities
- Set the direction for the overall Executive Support service.
- Champion new technologies and demonstrate how the EOT can leverage them to enhance productivity.
- Focus on the needs of the Executive Officer Team (EOT) and designated VIPs, including existing support and expanded in-home support.
- Manage Executive Support team performance, set clear expectations, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure quality service delivery.
- Stay abreast of technology trends and applications to understand current best practices and possible alternative solutions and support problem-solving.
- Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes.
- Create, maintain, and publish relevant support documentation and run books.
- Establish trust and maintain a high level of confidentiality for all interactions.
- Represent the EOT in any McKesson Technology initiatives that may affect their work and advocate on their behalf.
- Provide rapid response hands-on support when needed.
- Work extended hours as required.
- Must have the ability to take call

- Travel required
Critical Skills
- Have a deep understanding of complex IT systems, including network infrastructure, security protocols, custom software, and collaboration tools used by executives.
- Develop strong relationships with senior executives and understand their specific technology needs and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Engineering (or relevant experience).
- 3+ years of experience in technical support, with a proven track record of managing high-level issues for senior executives
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing proactive guidance and support to executives.
- Show a can-do attitude, find creative solutions when needed, and follow through on issues until resolved.
- Highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Maintain excellent verbal/written/phone communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
- Working knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot the following:
- Collaboration Applications: Teams, Office 365, Outlook
- Mobility Device Management: SCCM, Intune
- Laptops/tablets: Windows, macOS, iPad, common PC and Mac applications
- Video Conferencing: Video conference technologies, Webex, Zoom
- Directory Services: Active Directory
- Mobility Tools: VOIP, iOS iPhone, Android, TCP/IP networks
