Position Description

Enterprise Architecture Review Board Lead will be part of the Enterprise Architecture team with ownership of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Review Board. This role plays a key part in facilitating and administering the activities of the EA Review Board. This role involves working closely with the EA Review Board, IT teams, and development units to ensure that all architectural activities are aligned with the company's strategic goals and technology standards.

Key Capabilities

Documentation and Maintenance

  • Document and maintain architecture standards, patterns, and exceptions to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.

  • Create and manage a repository for EA artifacts, ensuring easy access and organization of all relevant documents.

Meeting Management

  • Set up calls and prioritize tasks for the EA Review Board, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are engaged and informed.

  • Define the cadence of EA Review Board meetings to ensure timely and effective decision-making.

  • Lead the development and scheduling of training sessions, and archive training materials for future reference and ongoing education.

EA Review Board Coordination

Scheduling and Facilitation

  • Schedule and run EA Review Board meetings, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are engaged and informed.

Documentation and Follow-ups

  • Maintain documentation of EA Review Board decisions, action items, and exceptions, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding issues.

Decision Support

  • Provide coordination and administrative support to drive decisions within the EA Review Board, ensuring that discussions are productive and outcomes are aligned with strategic objectives. This role does not have authoritative decision-making responsibilities.

Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to align enterprise architecture initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.

Change Management

  • Expertise in managing and implementing change within the enterprise architecture domain.

Communication

  • Communicate architectural decisions and plans effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically requires 7+ years relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • Experience in project management and driving large scale coordination

  • SharePoint Administrator experience to maintain repositories, artifacts and communication

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain the effectiveness of the board and document lifecycle management

  • Hands on experience in facilitation of cross team meetings

Additional Skills

  • Prior experience working on facilitation of Enterprise Architecture Review Board

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field  or equivalent experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$106,200 - $177,000
