1. About the Role
Step into a pivotal role as an Operations Supervisor at McKesson Medical-Surgical, where your leadership will ensure our distribution center runs seamlessly. As part of our dedicated weekend team, you'll be at the forefront of training, problem-solving, and equipment maintenance to drive efficiencies that help save lives. This is your chance to collaborate closely with Operations Managers and lead by example, all while contributing to a culture of diversity and opportunity, and tackling healthcare's biggest challenges.

2. What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Operations Managers to plan and direct warehouse activities, ensuring effective operations during weekend shifts.
• Motivate and lead your team to maintain high morale and work standards, fostering a positive work environment.
• Support training initiatives and manage employee performance to maximize team potential.
• Control expenses and work towards reducing employee turnover and overtime hours.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment and vehicles are well-maintained, and uphold exceptional housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local company policies in all warehouse operations.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.

3. What We’re Looking For

• Experience in operations or warehouse management, with a proven track record of leading teams effectively.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturday through Monday.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues at the root level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support team collaboration and morale.
• Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.

4. Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Technical proficiency in warehouse management systems and tools.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on employee development and team building.
• Capability to manage financial aspects of operations, including expense control and optimization.
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring compliance and excellence in equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
