Job Summary
McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
The Senior Manager, FP&A is responsible for Ontada’s consolidated budget, financial forecast and monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting. Reporting directly to the Ontada CFO, this position is responsible for all consolidated Ontada management reporting and is the key financial liaison to our business unit parent and corporate FP&A teams. The position also supports strategic initiatives and special projects and develops metrics and analyses that provide visibility to key financial and operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Own consolidated and segment quarterly and monthly financial reporting packages to support Ontada VP for presentation to executive management and business leadership team.
Leads all strategic finance activities for the business including LRP, annual budget, 24-month rolling forecast in coordination with various financial and non-financial business partners. This requires a leader who can develop relationships based on trust, confidence, and respect.
Drive the design, collection, analysis, and consolidation of key business and financial performance information and monthly operational metrics, as well as various special projects, recurring and ad hoc reporting.
Build and optimize management reporting for balance sheet, cash flow, income statement and operational KPI reporting.
Tracking of saving initiatives, monthly cadence to review performance versus plans.
Drive capitalization process overhaul.
Support SAP 4.0 Implementation and new revenue modules.
Education & Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience.
Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
Ideally will have a bachelor's degree in business, economics, science, mathematics, or related disciplines.
MBA, CPA or similar advanced degree, or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
Critical Skills
10+ years of financial, analytics, or accounting experience.
Ability to build strong, collaborative business partnerships.
Financial reporting & consolidating experience.
Financial and Accounting acumen.
Financial systems experience with ability to reconcile information from multiple sources, e.g., IBM Cognos/TM1, Hyperion, SAP BPC.
Excellent financial modeling and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Intellectual curiosity.,
Additional Skills
Experience collaborating with executives and business leaders.
Expertise with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with Data Visualization Platforms – e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Excellent project management skills.
Working Conditions
Ability to travel 5%.
Remote work environment.
Ideally in Irving, TX or near hub office location.
