L' Analyste fnancier principal(e) se joindra à l'équipe responsable de la planification et de l'analyse financière. L’AFP jouera un rôle clé en tant que partenaire commercial au sein du secteur des bannières au détail. Ses principales responsabilités comprendront la planification financière, le suivi du rendement commercial et la participation aux stratégies de développement des affaires. L’AFP devra aussi mettre l’accent sur des projets spéciaux.

Partie A – Responsabilités:

Planification Financière et Analyse (FP&A)

• Au sein de l'équipe responsable de la planification et de l'analyse financière et des projets spéciaux, agir à titre de partenaire commercial des Services de gestion des bannières au détail de McKesson Canada.

• Appuyer le directeur principal et le chef, planification et analyse financières et projets spéciaux pour ce qui a trait à la planification financière, aux tableaux de bord financiers, aux analyses comparatives des concurrents et aux présentations financières à la direction.

• Préparer et présenter des rapports de gestion mensuels et ad hoc aux différents partenaires d'affaires

• Participer activement aux prévisions mensuelles relatives aux activités de détail

• Contribuer à l'exercice d'établissement du budget annuel.

• Fournir un soutien proactif et réaliser des activités d'analytique commerciale pour les Services de gestion des bannières. Cela inclut réaliser les analyses générales et personnalisées, élaborer des indicateurs de rendement clés à valeur ajoutée et participer à la prise des décisions stratégiques en temps opportun.

• Maintenir un niveau de communication approprié avec tous les échelons de l'organisation et dans l'ensemble des secteurs d'activités.

• Contribuer à la recommandation de solutions pertinentes ou de solutions de rechange pour aider la direction dans sa prise de décisions.

• Assister l’équipe des Opérations avec des analyses de profitabilités diverses et les projets spéciaux.

Partie B – Exigences relatives au poste:

• Posséder au moins 7 années d'expérience en analyse financière ou en pratique professionnelle, ou dans un rôle similaire.

• Détenir un baccalauréat en commerce assorti d'une majeure en finance ou en comptabilité. Doit posséder un titre comptable CPA (CA, CGA, CMA).  

• Être bilingue (anglais et français); maîtriser les deux langues à l’écrit et à l’oral.

• Le/la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l’extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral. Veuillez noter que le nombre de postes dont les tâches requièrent une connaissance de la langue anglaise a été restreint dans la mesure du possible.

• Posséder un fort bagage en analyse, être à l'aise avec les exercices détaillés, et faire preuve d'organisation et d'autonomie.

• Démontrer de l'expertise dans les analyses commerciales et l'établissement de modèles financiers.

• Adopter une attitude et une approche qui mettent les clients à l'avant-plan dans les solutions commerciales.

• Posséder d'excellentes compétences en informatique et maîtriser MS Excel et PowerPoint.

• Avoir acquis de l'expérience au sein d'une société ou d'une firme multinationale est considéré comme un atout.

• Connaissance des règles comptables US GAAP est considéré comme un atout.

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst (“SFA”) will join the Financial Planning, Analysis team and play a key role within the McKesson Retail Banner Group. The main areas of responsibilities include forecasting, financial planning, budget preparation, business performance tracking and involvement in business development strategies. This role will also include particular focus on special projects.

Section A - Specific Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities generally include but are not limited to:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• As part of Financial Planning & Analysis team; the candidate will act as a business partner to the McKesson Canada Retail Banner Business

• Support the Sr. Director and Sr. Manager, FP&A relating to the financial planning, financial dashboards, benchmark competitive analyses & financial management presentations

• Prepare and present monthly and Ad Hoc management reports to the respective business owners

• Actively involved in the monthly forecasting activities of the Retail Business

• Support and help drive the annual budgeting and long rang planning exercises

• Provide pro-active support and business analytics to the Retail Banner business. Notably includes performing general and customized analyses, develop value added KPIs, involvement in supporting strategic decision making.

• Maintain appropriate levels of communication with all levels of the organization and across various business segments.

• Recommend appropriate solutions or alternatives when supporting management in decision making.

• Assist Operations in Ad Hoc profitability requests and Special Projects

Section B - Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis / professional practice or in a similar role

• Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance or Accounting. Must have an accounting designation CPA (CA, CGA, CMA)

• Bilingual French and English (written and oral).

• The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Able to effectively manage multiple analyses/ projects in a timely manner and prioritize work.

• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience in a multinational corporation or firm is an asset.

• Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset.
