Founded in 2002, Masters Drug Company is the nation’s premiere secondary pharmaceutical wholesale distributor (and a wholly owned subsidiary of McKesson Corporation). Building upon the strength and footprint of its parent organization - Masters sources and distributes a catalog of over 10,000 items (Generics, Brand, and OTC) to retail and institutional pharmacies across the United States and Puerto Rico.
Current Need
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Masters finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely financial and management reporting for the Masters organization. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance against targets.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and scenario analysis.
- Implement and maintain robust controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with budgets.
- Work closely with finance teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate financial and non-financial data for comprehensive analysis.
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to enhance financial reporting and decision support.
- Ensure month end close process is completed accurately and timely
- Process all required journal entries into SAP
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions for process and profitability improvements
- Assist with process re-design to KPI dashboard enhancements and automation of the current process
- Special Projects and analysis as required
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Critical Skills
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on FP&A roles.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel and Data Analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and business partnership skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- SAP and BW COPA preferred
- Power BI
- Tableau preferred
- SQL preferred
