The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in partnering with our business leads on the US Oncology team. The main areas of responsibility include financial planning, forecast activities for our Network support teams, annual budgeting, long-range planning, developing/publishing management reporting, and special projects. This individual should be firmly embedded within the team(s) he/she serves and should have proven experience building and maintaining solid business partnerships. They should be assertive, pro-active, self-driven and be able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and long-range plan.
- Lead monthly close analysis and forecasting including production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on the results.
- Build and modify large financial models using expert Excel skills.
- Assist in developing of presentations of financial results to provide visibility and insight to the leadership team and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and balance multiple projects in various stages of completion.
- Proven abilities to gather data, report information and interpret results to varying levels of management and functional groups.
- Assist in ad hoc analysis and special projects.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
4-year degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
Critical Skills
- 4+ years of progressive financial experience in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
- Advanced Excel skills (proficient user of vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, if statements) required .
- Experience with monthly close, and analytics.
- Experience with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for a client group
- Proficient in Power Point.
- Exceptional knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements, forecasts, month end close, budgets, variance analysis, etc.
- Experience manipulating and creating financial models with the goal of analyzing large amounts of data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work with and communicate with all organization levels, including senior management.
- Ability to present and explain financial information to non-finance professionals.
Salary: 78,400.00 - 104,500.00 - 130,600.00 USD Annual

- Experience with TM1, SAP, Essbase, PeopleSoft highly preferred, but not necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Traditional office environment.
- Large percent of time performing computer based work is required.
