RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and operations maintenance for all equipment used in the Distribution center environment.
Supports maintenance staff by performing maintenance duties such as conveyor maintenance, minor maintenance of office equipment, electrical projects, and light construction
Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training.
Follow the PM maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manual.
Improve quality and efficiency on the production floor.
Works with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs
Compensation Range: 18.32 - 24.42 - 30.53 USD Hourly+ $2.00 Shift Differential.
Shifts Details: Weekend Shift - Friday – Monday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, or until complete. Applicants must be flexible with work hours and days, including holidays and short-notice call-ins
Training Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of related experience
Critical Skills:
At least 1+ years in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both.
Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and replace them.
1+ years of experience with conveyor maintenance, minor maintenance of office equipment, electrical projects, and light construction.
1+ years of experience with voltage and AC/DC circuitry and troubleshooting
1+ years of experience with electrical schematics
1+ years of experience with aligning bearings, shafts, and drives
1+ years of experience with tension, belts, and chains
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience is desired.
Windows XP/Windows 7 and work order experience is preferred
Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively between facilities team, vendors, operations, and IT.
Education:
Associate degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
100% standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
