Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am until completion
The Trainer position at McKesson involves delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees across various functions. This role is crucial in ensuring that training materials are effective, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs. The Trainer will work closely with management and Subject Matter Experts to identify performance gaps and develop appropriate training solutions, contributing to the overall growth and efficiency of the organization.

Typically requires 3+ years of related experience
Responsibilities
Train groups, one-on-one, virtually, or in the classroom on various topics including New Hire orientation, technical skills, standard operating procedures, products, and soft skills.
Collaborate with management to ensure training programs are effective and that materials are accurate, compliant, and relevant.
Identify performance gaps and develop solutions, including training and other interventions, to improve individual and team performance.
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training documents.
Develop training documents using best practices, including visuals, Leaders Guides, and Participants guides.
Conduct needs assessments and post-assessments to ensure knowledge transfer to the job.
Coordinate logistics of training sessions, including training room setup, attendance tracking, and materials preparation.
Requirements
Strong proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
2+ years of training experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to teach/present in front of groups.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Experience working with SMEs in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Working knowledge of JD Edward's Enterprise One (E1) platform.
Knowledge of industry-standard learning technologies.
Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles.
