Program Overview
McKesson’s Intern program is 12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:
- A real-life working environment

Duration: 4 months
Location: Mississauga, ON, CAN - 2300 Meadowvale Blvd
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operational Excellence & PMO intern to support our Strategic Execution & Operational Excellence (PMO) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing project management and administrative support to deliver on key business processes and services across McKesson Canada Specialty Health.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Support Project Managers in coordinating project deliverables and preparing necessary project documents.
- Maintain and further develop databases or decision support tools and systems.
- Work closely with Project Managers in setting up regular and ad-hoc meetings; prepare minutes and summaries of actions to be taken, and track progress on action items.
- Coordination and communication on interdepartmental tasks and processes
- Participate in project meetings and update and maintain project documentation, including RAID Log and other project deliverables.
Business Operations Support
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support key strategic projects and process updates.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and analyze dashboards, deriving data-driven insights to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Assist in identifying, collecting, and analyzing large data sets to monitor key operational progress and performance.
- Support in the maintenance of reference and/or policy documents related to business operations.
- Contribute to the creation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required for this position.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present complex data.
- Creative problem solver with ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; results-oriented, passionate, and driven to succeed.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word)

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
