Position available:

• Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 (Flexibility needed- Required to work up to 10 hours a day if needed, weekends if needed, and sometimes early morning or late nights. Notice to these changes will be given.)
• $22.77 / hour

Job Details:

• The material handler specialist is responsible for training new associates in all areas of the distribution center.
• The trainee will be expected to perform their duties at a high level of performance within six (6) months after beginning the training program. Failure to meet this expectation may result in termination.
• This position requires working onsite.

Job Responsibilities:   

• Train and/or cross train other associates as needed or required by management
• Operate powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trailers
• Sort, count, package, label, wrap, box, and stage product for shipment
• Prepare reports and maintain records as requested by supervision
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Requirements

• 1.5 years of equipment operating experience
• Good written/oral communication skills
• Bilingual verbal and written required (English & Spanish)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of equipment operating experience
• Previous training experience preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
