About the Job

The Product Manager for the Applications Team will drive the development of innovative, user-centric digital applications. You will work closely with UX designers, engineers, and marketers to craft compelling product experiences that delight customers and meet market demands. Your leadership will be instrumental in transforming customer insights into impactful product features.

McKesson Compile’s Apps team build user experiences for internal teams and customers to get value from our data products, including Patient and Provider datasetsAs we improve and expand our web applications, the Product Manager – Apps will be a key individual in evaluating customer and market opportunities, designing solutions, and leading a team of world-class technologists to deliver valuable and usable product experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of product management experience focused on digital applications and user experience design.

  • Ability to define and document user experiences, business processes, and data & technical workflows

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities

  • Experience working with, engaging, and influencing multiple cross-functional teams and leaders

  • Strong background in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle in fast-paced, data-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications / Keen Interest

  • Experience in healthcare technology or digital health applications.

  • Experience with RWD from claims, EHR, and other patient-level datasets.

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).

  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling digital products in a high-growth tech organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for digital applications with a strong focus on user experience.

  • Work on UX/UI to translate user feedback and market insights into product enhancements.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features.

  • Drive product positioning and messaging to effectively engage and educate internal & external customers.

  • Lead a cross functional team of engineers and designers to deliver customer / user value through a product or product line

  • Engage with other product teams and end users regularly

  • Drive product vision, strategy and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals

  • Incorporate data in decision making

  • Develop problem statements and user stories to engage and motivate the product team

  • Prioritize product development work

  • Evangelize your product and user experience across the organization

  • Write core positioning and messaging for the product in collaboration with Marketing

  • Launch new products and new innovations with the necessary materials, training, andtools to drive sales velocity

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and deliver product training to your internal and external stakeholders
