The Oncology Provider Engagement Sr Director is a Senior Specialist leadership role who is responsible for executing against GPO performance objectives. The role is a subject matter expert who works collaboratively with sales leadership to grow, maintain and earn new Oncology business. This position leads our differentiated program, Onmark United and is visible to our strategic members and aggregators. The role also includes engagements with our internal Business Development leaders and our external biopharma partners.
Position Description
- Works directly with distribution sales leadership and GPO Business development leaders to build a vision that meets the needs of our membership
- Drives strategic initiatives and delivers results
- Sets success factors and strategies to drive enhanced performance on the contract portfolio
- Responsible for setting strategy, leading the internal operations and external alignment of Onmark United
- Builds and executes against annual goals
- Leads and drives complex projects to improve value, innovate offerings, streamline efficiencies, and improve customer experience
- Works collaboratively with Sales, Clinical Specialist leaders, MID, and other internal stakeholders to drive provider engagement with the GPO Services business
- Sets goals and builds development plans with team members
- Partners with Business Development leaders to build long term strategy for Oncology business and aggregators
- Supports internal teams on financial forecasting based on the changing business dynamics
- Engages and provides market insights in manufacturer meetings.
- Presents to small and large groups on GPO strategies and market dynamics
Qualifications
- 10+ years relevant healthcare experience
- 4+ years people leadership required
- 3+ years sales, consulting or provider engagement experience preferred
Critical Skills
- Bachelors degree required (in Business, Management Science, Mathematics or Economics)
- 5+ years of experience in leadership, business analysis, and strategy development in management consulting, technology, or consumer-packaged goods environment.
- Previous Group Purchasing Organization experience is a plus
- Healthcare experience required, specifically Oncology experience highly preferred
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Strong service selling, service delivery and client relationship skills.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Previous experience working with or for pharmaceutical manufacturers is a plus
- Leadership skills with experience working in matrix organization
- Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact
- Proven ability to establish, enhance and manage customer relationships and leverage those relationships to drive revenue and profit.

Our Base Pay Range for this position
