Current Need

This position will provide service excellence by identifying key business areas that will create efficiencies and standardizations.  The primary focus of this role is working with team members and key stakeholders of the organization to identify process improvement opportunities, create dashboards, build metrics and drive them to completion.  In this role, you will direct multiple small to medium projects and at least one large and complex project.  You will collect, analyze, and interpret data from a variety of sources and lead the development and implementation of end-to-end analytic solutions.  You will derive clarity from stakeholders as to how the analytic solutions will be used to influence and enable business decisions, and how the resulting actions will be quantified and tracked.  The projects will be managed from planning, execution to project completeness.

Position Description

  • Review and identify areas that will create efficiencies and standardization.
  • Utilizes an advanced understanding of multiple data structures and sources to lead the development and implementation of end-to-end business intelligence solutions, which may include data visualization, data transformation, or data collection.
  • Acts as a trusted analytics and data visualization SME advisor to stakeholders and internal team members.
  • Applies data visualization best practices to identify and interpret trends or patterns. 
  • Mentors team members by providing guidance on Data Visualization, business intelligence tools, techniques, and processes.
  • Create, maintain, and improve existing reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to make improvements to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the Network.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
  • Lead Change and champion all process improvements, including RPA.
  • Work closely with all McKesson Specialty Health accounting functions.
  • Support of multiple internal and external customers.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for McKesson best practices.
  • Manage implementations of solutions for process improvements.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reports.
  • Ability to define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Able to research tools or apps that will help implement the project.
  • Monitor and present reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence, 3+ years interacting and communicating with key business partners in a lead role
  • 5+ years of advanced experience in database querying/scripting, implementing data-driven solutions, reporting experience, and building dashboards and visualizations.
  • Experience developing business deliverables that leverage business intelligence platforms, data management platforms, or SQL-based languages (Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, Oracle, or related)

  • Ability to define project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables during planning sessions.
  • Process Management – Must have a demonstrated ability to handle large, complex processes and ability to manage and complete projects.
  • Self-starter – able to work under limited direction and think independently.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of understanding of how to produce accurate and meaningful metrics to deliver high quality, actionable, and efficient insights to drive business KPIs.
  • Must have a mindset that is oriented to constantly drive process improvement.
  • Proven ability to multi-task while meeting various deadlines.
  • Proven intermediate to advance ability with Excel (Daily use of pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc).
  • Able to maintain an engaged, positive attitude in an ever-changing environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience.
  • Advanced experience with Power BI.
  • Ability to build dashboards.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Process improvement experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Sharepoint, Essbase
  • Time Management
  • Experience with Alteryx
  • Analytical skills
  • Accounting and Finance experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills to effectively interact and present to a wide variety of stakeholders

Education
BA or BS degree in Finance, Economics, or Data & Analytics

Salary: 87,600.00 - 116,800.00 - 146,000.00 USD Annual (Target 110K)

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$87,600 - $146,000
